Free LPI Exam Retake With Pearson VUE

Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is pleased to participate in the free exam retake initiative launched by its global testing partner, Pearson VUE.

This limited-time offer, available until June 12, 2025, provides candidates with the opportunity to retake their LPI certification exam at no additional cost if they do not succeed on their first attempt. To qualify, candidates must sign up for the promotion and complete their exam through Pearson VUE during the campaign period.

How to Take Advantage of the Promotion

Step 1: Candidates must register for the promotion using the link below before scheduling their exam: www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/test-takers/free-retake.html
Step 2: A retake code will be sent to the candidate by email.
Step 3: Schedule the exam.

For candidates using vouchers purchased through the LPI Partner Portal:

Step 1: Enter the Pearson VUE retake code in the voucher field first.
Step 2: Then enter the LPI voucher code.

The initial exam must be scheduled and completed between May 1 and June 12, 2025 in order to qualify for the free retake. The free retake exam appointment must take place between July 7, 2025 and January 20, 2026.  Vouchers that have been purchased before May 1, 2025, and do not expire before June 12, 2025, can be used to register for the initial exam appointment.
