How to register for an AWS Certification exam

To register for AWS Certification exams, candidates need to have an AWS account. If don’t, please refer to How to create an AWS account. After creating an account, candidates can follow these steps.

• Note: Candidates must contact testing center if candidates need to issue invoices (VAT)

Access the website: https://www.aws.training/, click “Sign in”.

-    If you are free contestant, not AWS’s partner, click “Sign in” (1).

-    If you are a candidate of AWS’ partner, click “Sign in” (2).

-    If you are AWS’ staff, click “Sign in here”.

These following steps are for free contestants (not for partner or staff of AWS).

Candidates enter email/password information and click “Sign-in” for logging in.

 

Since successful login, candidates can get in their dashboard. Candidates click “Get AWS Certified” to register.

Click “Go to your Account”

Click “Schedude New Exam”

The browser will direct you to certmetrics page as below:

Candidates can search for exams at “Eligible Exams”. Here, candidates select the exam that they want to register by choosing “Schedule with PSI” or “Schedule with PearsonVue”.

• Note: Tan Duc IT School is an authorized testing center of both PSI and PearsonVue. Or you can select any appropriate testing center by searching for PearsonVue’ centers at the link.

Candidates who select PearsonVue:

Enter all the required information: Country, State/Province, Postal Code, and Phone number. Then click “Update/Confirm”. 

Wait for a second, the browser will direct to PearsonVue page. Here, candidates must select the language of the exam:

Note: Candidates take note the AWS ID (in the right corner of the screen) to register for the next exams at PearsonVue.

Click “Schedule Exam”.

Click “Proceed to Scheduling”. If candidates want to register for one more exam on the same day, click “Add another exam to take on the same day”

Candidates select testing center and click “Next”

Choose Date, Time.

After that is the payment step. Click “Proceed to Checkout”

Candidates must confirm 5 following steps below:

Step 1: Confirm Personal Information.

Step 2: Agree with all the policies. Candidates click the box “I have read and agree to the Amazon Web Services policies listed above.” and “Next”.

Step 3: Enter Payment.

Candidates need to have an international credit card (VISA, MASTER CARD). Enter the credit card’s information and click “Next”. If candidates have a voucher, then enter it in “Add voucher or promo code”.

Step 4: Submit Order.

Candidates check all the information before choosing “Submit Order”.

Step 5: The registration process is complete. Candidates will receive a confirmation email about completed registration. Candidates refer to the regulations of the exam and supply necessary paperwork for the testing center.

The browser will direct to PSI page.

Candidate’s selected exam subject will be shown on the screen. Click “Schedule exam”

Message board will appear for candidates to confirm the version of the exam. Click “Continue”, if candidates agree with the right version; if don’t, click “Cancel” to select it again.

Candidates choose the language of the exam at “Select Language” and search for the testing center

-    Select Country: Vietnam.

-    Enter the location and click an icon 

-    Select the month that candidates want to take an exam at “Preferred Month”. Then click “Search Exam Center”, appropriate testing centers will be shown on the website, candidates select testing center they want to register, select date and time, and click “Continue”.

Brief exam schedule notice-board appears, continually click “Continue”, or click “Change” for changing information related to exam schedule.

Move to the payment step, candidates must have an international credit card (VISA, MASTER CARD,…) and complete all its information; select 2 services, and policies agreement boxes. In the end, click “Pay Now” to complete the registration process
